Recently we were commissioned to produce some Ho Chi Minh City photography and videography for a small clothing company in the USA called Buddha Pants. They were looking to make some photos of their factory with a Ho Chi Minh City Photographer to help raise awareness to their customers on how their pants are made.
Here is the factory photography in Ho Chi Minh City of their small textile factory.
The client also wanted to make some social media clips about the behind the scenes of how their products are made, how the working conditions are and the general feeling about how the people who make the pants feel.
The idea was to make a couple different versions of video which could be used in portrait and landscape mode for social media.
We broke up the videos into two sections so that it is easy for the audience to follow the process of the pants being made.
The client published the videos and had a really great response from her customers and we are already in talks about how to make some more photography and video content for their social media campaigns to raise more awareness to their customers.
We shot the photos for a half day and video for the remaining day which ended up working out well as it helped the client achieve their needs as well as help keep their budget to a minimum.
Usually when a client is looking to make photos and video we recommend setting it up in this way as the camera systems and way of shooting photos and video are pretty different technically. So either a client has to hire a photographer and a videographer or they compromise and shoot basically half and half. Really depends on a number of factors which we help advise our clients about before moving forward.
The client said that bringing this awareness to their customers has been really great and they have had excellent feedback and are looking to do some more photography and video of their production in 2022.
